Major Applications

• As oxygen scavenger in steam boiler feed water and drilling water, and in sea water desalting treatment.
• For treating excess chlorine in effluent water & detoxification of chromic acid in electro plating industries
• In manufacture of Sodium thiosulphate, sulphonating agent, sulfosuccinates – sampoo, dyes  and other organic chemical intermediates
• In pulp and paper industry for processing of semi-chemical pulp, kraft pulping and production of chemi-thermo-mechanical and sulphite  pulp.
• As dechlorinating and bleaching agent in textile industry.

Storage

• Store in ventilated dry area and under shed.
• Keep containers closed when not use, and on exposure to moisture it oxidizes easily to sodium sulphate.
