UREA FORMALDEHYDE RESIN POWDER

Physical & Chemical Characteristics:

  1. Appearance : White free flowing Powder
  2. Bulk Density : 0.4 gm/cm3  Min.
  3. Volatile Content (105 ºC/1hr.) : 3.5 % Max.
  4. Free Formaldehyde : 1.5 % Max.                                                      Properties of 2:1 Solution in water                 
  5. pH @25°C : 8 – 9
  6. Viscosity @25°C : 2000 – 4000 CP
  7. Gel Time @90°C (100g glue + 10ml 20% NH4Cl) : 50 – 80 seconds.
  8. Gel Time @50°C (100g glue + 10ml 20% NH4Cl) : 4 – 10 minutes

Major Applications

  • Low Formaldehyde Emission required applications.
  • Adhesives for plywood and veneering application.
  • Glue in MDF / Block / Ply / Chip board, particle board and other cellulosic applications.
  • Paper Impregnation & Lamination.

Packing

  • 25Kg Vacuum Sealed Multiply Paper Bag with inner liner Polyethylene.

Storage

  • Store in its original bags in a cool place protected from heat. 
  • Care should be taken that powder does not absorb moisture and water. 
  • Storage life at 25°C: 6 months.
