Logistics Concept

Apart from the Saudi Market, NCSP products are flowing in to Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Yemen, GCC countries and other countries like Tunisia,  Philippines, Australia and other abroad countries.

The huge volume of business generated by NCSP and the wide variety of markets covered resulted, at the earliest stages of NCSP life, in the formulation of the logistic concept which reliability, availability and maintainability are essential elements. We can summarize NCSP’s logistic concept in

 

“having the right item in the right quantity at the right time at the right place for the right price in the right condition to the right customer”

 

NCSP’s logistic concept covers the flow and storage of materials from point of origin to point of consumption. The main functions of our logistic concept includes; Procurement, Production, Distribution and Disposal.

Procurement  consists of activities such as inventory management, market research, requirements planning, make-or-buy decisions, supplier management, ordering, order controlling and the organizing and planning of these activities.

Production connects procurement to distribution logistics. Its main function is to use available production capacities to produce the products needed in distribution logistics. Production logistics activities are related to organizational concepts, layout planning, production planning and control.

Distribution consists of sales order processing and warehousing management and furthermore customer service and the organizing and planning of these activities.

Disposal logistics has as its main function to reduce logistics cost(s) and enhance service(s) related to the disposal of waste produced during the operations of business.
